Following the statements of Judge Harry Diaz, a new complaint arises against the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court (CSJ), Jose Ayu Prado.
Rolando Sanchez, a lawyer proponent of the complaint explained that these statements were drawn from a series of situations that give rise to a definite offense, which was judicialize wiretaps.
The lawyer said that the mechanism that they attempted to legalize wiretapping, the telephone number was included in a process either in a particular prosecution.
This conduct is deployed today by Ayu Prado, it is defined in the Criminal Code for abuse of authority and violation of the duties of a public servant. It notes that in the process there are people who would be willing to testify.
He hopes that the complaint is not like the others that have been filed in the National Assembly against the magistrate Ayu Prado.
He considers that the deputies did not want to investigate the magistrate, and therefore urges the President of the Credentials Committee Jorge Ivan Arrocha seriousness that this complaint for investigation is achieved against Ayu Prado.
Other requests of the lawyer is to be separated from office immediately magistrate Jose Ayu Prado. "I hope that the Assembly take this seriously because at stake is the country's democratic stability and transparency of Panama," he says.
